COUDERSPORT, PA, October 17, 2026: Ray Bilger, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Pennsylvania’s 15th District, will hold a Town Hall for Potter County voters on Tuesday, October 27th at Kaytee’s Restaurant (251 US-6, Coudersport, PA 16915). The event is free and open to the public and will feature about an hour of questions and answers directly with Ray.

“Real leadership isn’t built behind closed doors. We’re excited to bring people together for an open, unfiltered conversation. Ray is ready to take every question, listen to community concerns, and lay out a clear plan to deliver results for working families.” – Brent Bryant Potter County Democratic Committee Chair

About the Candidate: Ray Bilger was born and raised in rural Pleasant Gap, Centre County, Pennsylvania. His working-class values of self-reliance and service were strengthened during his time in the U.S. Air Force, where he served in both Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm during the first Gulf war in 1991. Over 35 years of service in the military and federal government, Bilger worked in national security, the Secret Service, and special operations, and spent nearly 20 years in the U.S. foreign service in Eastern Europe.

“I’m running for Congress to honor my family’s legacy,” Bilger said. “My parents saved so we could have a better life, but that promise is slipping away for too many families across rural Pennsylvania. Potter County deserves a representative who actually shows up, listens, and brings that hope and opportunity back home and that’s exactly why I’m coming to Tionesta.”

Bilger has held Town Halls across Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District throughout the campaign, meeting and speaking directly with voters, while his opponent, Rep. Glenn Thompson – who has been invited to each of these events – has not held a Town Hall in the district in years. The October 27th event will give Potter County residents the opportunity to meet Bilger, ask questions on issues ranging from affordability and healthcare to rural broadband and agriculture, and learn more about his candidacy.

Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to arrive early, as seating is limited.

The Town Hall is being organized by the Potter County Democratic Committee. For more information, visit RayBilgerforCongress.com or follow Ray Bilger for Congress on Facebook and Instagram. You can also sign up to attend this free event on Mobilize.
