This family is going through an incredibly tough time after losing their home and loved one, and they’re trying to find stability and healing.
Living in a van and facing grief without support has been overwhelming.
If you’re able, please share or donate to help them relocate to a place with more opportunities and support. Even a small share can make a big difference in helping them rebuild.
Due to mental health issues, I lost my job and, as a result, my apartment. Right now, I am living in my van, while my daughter sleeps inside at my mother’s house. This situation has been incredibly difficult for both of us, and I am doing everything I can to keep her safe and cared for.
On top of everything, we recently lost my father the day after Father’s Day. We were very close with him, and his passing has been deeply detrimental to both me and my daughter. Living in my van makes it so hard to properly grieve him, and healing is something we desperately need to do. Grieving his loss while facing these challenges has made this time even harder for us emotionally and financially.
I have been searching for employment, but so far, nothing has worked out. We are not receiving any kind of assistance, and every day is a struggle to cover basic needs like gas and food. If I am able to raise funds, it would go directly towards helping my daughter and me relocate to a different state where we have family and more job opportunities. Your support would mean the world to us as we try to rebuild, find stability, and finally have a chance to heal. Anything you can give is so hugely appreciated.
