The Potter Players were in rare form last night at the Coudersport Arboretum, where they acted out an old-timey radio drama about Father’s Day, and then performed hilarious, side-splitting improv, with people falling off of the stage, and dancing ladies cheerleading, people bawking like chickens, and everything.
This reporter was delighted by their talent and laughed all of the way through their amazing show, which they must have practiced for A LOT, because there was literally one point where two of the men were jogging in place, while holding folders containing their lines, in front of a microphone, for several minutes.
And jumping jacks.
And witty, snappy, sharp, funny report, and, well, everything anybody could want in a one-hour comedy show.
It was simply mesmerizing, captivating, and enchanting all at the same time, while also being funny as hell.
So, if you want to be entertained in a sunny, breezy, beautiful, outdoor venue FOR FREE next Friday, come down to the Coudersport Arboretum at 6pm, where you won’t regret your decision–and might just laugh your ass off.
I did.
What a great way to end the work week.
Thanks, Coudersport Arboretum and Potter Players! I had a blast!
