DATE and TIME CHANGE

Due to a conflict with a regularly-scheduled community event, the date and time for the following activity has changed.

The ski program scheduled Saturday, January 24, 2026, has been moved earlier in the month to the afternoon of Saturday, January 10. Winter Adventure Hike or Cross Country Ski new time is 2 PM to 4 PM, Saturday, January 10. Registration Needed for Ski Sizing. Meet the park educator on the Night Sky Public Viewing Area (side without telescope domes, north of Rt. 44) at the kiosk by restrooms. Route will be about 2 miles over flat terrain. See nature’s refreshing winter beauty on foot! In the event of a hike, be prepared with good hiking boots, hiking poles/sticks, and water.  If conditions allow, there will be an opportunity to cross-country ski (equipment and instruction provided for free). Be prepared with water-resistant hiking boots, layers, hiking poles/sticks, and water.
