This Thursday evening, October 29th we are holding our first County Wide Candlelight Vigil
We hold Candlelight Vigil every year in October to remember those who have been lost to Domestic Violence and to light the way for others to survive.
We are providing luminaria bags and LED lights. Let’s spread the light of hope throughout the county!
You are invited to pick up the bags and lights at our office this week before Thursday night at 360 E. Second Street, right next to Head Start. We are here from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (Please excuse our mess as we are moving.)
You can also use your own lunch bags and lights if you’re not able to come to our office.
On Thursday evening, from 7:00 -8:00 p.m., please display your luminaria outside.
We ask that you take a picture and send it to us, with the name of the township, borough or general area in Potter County where YOU ARE LIGHTING THE WAY.
On Friday evening, October 30th, we will present a virtual Candlelight Vigil ceremony on our Facebook page, with presentations from our staff members and featuring your pictures, lighting the way all over Potter County.
Thank you for helping us to light the way out for victims of domestic violence.
