(MCKEAN COUNTY, Pennsylvania: June 4, 2026):

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that a Bradford man who bit the finger of an Officer during his arrest and then spit on a Corrections’ Office while incarcerated at the McKean County Jail has been sentenced to state prison.

Dantley CURRY was sentenced during a sentencing hearing held today at the McKean County Courthouse to 8 months to 24 months and 24 months’ concurrent probation. 

He was ordered to submit a DNA sample, pay fines, and additional terms.
